Self-monitoring

A special range of products is offered directly to individual patients - for the purpose of monitoring of the process of treatment (self-testing).

Strips for patients suffering from diabetes are used for the purpose of monitoring of the two fundamental analytes (glucose and ketones). Glucose is one of the physiological elements of urine. An increased level of glucose in urine is a conclusive symptom of diabetes. Another monitored element are ketones whose detection in urine proves to be of utmost importance as regards timely determination of major changes of intermediary metabolism.
